A team led by professors Inés Küster and Natalia Vila, including Cristina Aragonés, Pedro Canales, and Elisabet Mora, faculty members of the Department of Marketing and Market Research at the University of Valencia, are part of the project "CUES: Consumers' Understanding of Eating Sustainably". The CUES consortium, led by Erasmus University Rotterdam, consists of 21 partners from 8 European countries (Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Croatia, Iceland, Portugal, and Greece).

The CUES project is developed within the Horizon Europe program, with the aim of revolutionizing food consumption towards more sustainable patterns by promoting a 'Triple Shift' in culture, the food value chain, and policy. The project started in March 2024 and will last for 48 months. During the project kick-off meeting held on March 7 and 8, 2024 in Rotterdam (Netherlands), all partners presented their participation and responsibilities in the project, sharing ideas and ambitions for successful implementation and achieving the project's specific objectives. CUES aims to foster a significant change in culture, the food value chain, and policy in the food system, essential to ensure that sustainable foods are desirable and reliable for consumers. The project will develop nine interventions and a series of policy dialogues through a participatory multi-stakeholder approach.

The project can be followed through different social media platforms:
