Who can register for the test

Registration is open only to current members of the university community and to people enroled in a Catalan language course of the Centre d'Idiomes at the time registration. Having an e-mail address with the domain or being a member of Alumni does NOT give individuals the right to register.

In addition, for the January 2022 call there is the requirement of being at least 18 years old before the 13 January 2022.

The registration fee changes from year to year and it entitles candidates to one attempt. The 2022 fee is €28. UV staff (PDI, PIF and PAS) can apply for grants for official language tests.

In the cases provided by the legislation in force, candidates are entitled to a reduction in fees or an exemption from payment under the terms specified in each official announcement.

CIEACOVA certificates are equivalent to the language certificates granted by the Valencian Government (Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià) and by official language schools and to other official certificates awarded by the Catalan Government, the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Government of Andorra, the Ramon Llull Institute, the University of the Balearic Islands and Catalan universities.
