The Libraries and Documentation Service is drafting a new Master Plan for the period 2024-2027, with the aim of drawing a clear roadmap that will guide the actions of the institution in the next four years and comply with LAEV05 "Elaboration of the Master Plan of the Libraries and Documentation Service, and development of the regulation of authorship of scientific works" of the Strategic Plan of the UV 2023-2026.

The institution's management team is working on the development of this new strategy, with the support and collaboration of the consulting firm "Juntos Generamos Valor" (Together We Generate Value). This planning process has involved an exhaustive analysis of the present and future needs of the service, as well as a detailed evaluation of the challenges and opportunities that appear on the horizon.

The new Master Plan focuses on the identification of key strategic lines that will reinforce the mission and vision of the Libraries and Documentation Service as well as on the design of specific initiatives aimed at achieving the established objectives.

With a four-year term, from 2024 to 2027, this Master Plan represents a renewed commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of libraries and archives of the University of Valencia. Its implementation is expected to contribute significantly to the development and continuous improvement of the service, benefiting the entire university community.
