This feature will only be available to admins. It allows to create, edit or cancel groups.
Once factors such as group name, corresponding unit, area, URL, active or inactive status and reception of general or internal applications are specified, the group members list can be created.
Active / inactive status: A group can be deactivated at any time, without necessarily deleting it. If a group is deactivated, it won’t receive messages of any origin.
URL / link: there will be the possibility to establish an URL or link which will normally refer to sections of the unit’s webpage for each group or circuit. In these sections it will be necessary to explain in detail why that particular circuit must be used and what documentation will have to be attached in the message and in what format (if it’s a circuit between Units) or in the general or internal application’s request if it’s a person-type circuit (the link will have to be cropped with links.uv.es)
Available for general application: a group can be configured to be a recipient for general applications. This will allow the external staff of the Universitat de València to directly send messages to the group through “General application” (EXPSOLP2U) at ENTREU.
Available for internal application: a group can be configured to be a recipient for internal applications. This will enable the staff linked to the Universitat de València to initiate internal procedures managed by the unit’s group through the “General application” procedure (PERS2UNIT) at ENTREU
Direct reception of general applications: If the group is set to receive general applications, it can additionally specify if it wants the applications to arrive directly to the group. Were this option inactive, messages will be sent to the General Registry Office in the first instance and they will be sent to the group from there.
Group members: For a group to be complete, it’s necessary to specify which people of the unit are going to be in charge of it.
There are two conditions to be met in order to create a new group:
- All data must be filled
- The group must contain at least one member
