In the first edition of the Study of the Insertion of Graduates (EIL), a sample of 6988 graduates from 52 different degrees was interviewed, who had finished their studies between 1999 and 2003. The graduates were interviewed in three periodical waves: March 2004 (15 different degrees) December 2004 (19 different degrees) and June 2005 (19 different degrees).
