The main objective of this study focuses on the analysis of the labor activity and the development of the professional career of those who obtained their Doctorate between the years 2002 and 2005 in any of the five academic areas that the university offers. The results of this investigation allowed us to know the current professional status of the UV’s doctors in those years. The investigation has also inspired improvements in order to facilitate their insertion into the labour market as researchers and also the transfer of those investigations into the businesses. The interviews were carried out from December 2006 to January 2007.
