The study of the Labour Insertion of Graduates from the Universitat de València  (Estudio de Inserción Laboral – EIL) has the objective of  periodically obtaining rigorous knowledge about the processes of the insertion into the labour market of representative samples of graduates from the degrees of first and second cycle taught at the UV (University of Valencia).

This study is based on a survey which analyzes the choice of university studies,  the overall evaluation of the University and of the education obtained at it, the postgraduate education studied and the working experiences that graduates acquired during their study´s years. Additionally, it examines the usual working status from the obtaining of the degree and the current working status. On the other hand, the study provides a description of the first job and the current or last job. Concerning unemployed graduates, activities concerning the search for a job are analyzed, as well as the reasons why unemployed graduates fail to search for work.

Therefore, three editions of the study have been published. The first one, included those graduates that finished their studies between the years 1999 and 2003. The second one included those graduates that obtained their degree between the years 2002 and 2006. The third one included those graduates that obtained their degree between the years 2006 and 2010.
