Analysis and Planning Service

The Analysis and Planning Service is the general service of the University of Valencia responsible for coordinating official statistics and analysing the information required for the decision-making by government bodies. It provides technical support in corporate strategic planning, in their operational deployment and in other projects and action plans aimed at the continuous improvement of the UV and its management units.

SAP’s Quality Policy

The QUALITY POLICY OF SAP is based in the achievement of the following goals:

  • Meeting the needs and expectations of the users through an empathic attitude that allows us to properly understand and anticipate, when possible, those needs and expectations:

a) Fulfilling their requirements, as well as–in their case-those which may apply in accordance with the current regulations
b) Guaranteeing the agreed deadlines.
c) Ensuring compliance with the commitments of our Services Charter.

  • Getting an appropriate working climate within the SAP, fostering the development oftalents and abilities of each member, thus each of them feel responsible of their work quality and feel satisfied and proud of belonging to the SAP.
  • Promoting the culture of innovation within the SAP, identifying opportunities and emerging trends, in order to offering new useful and interesting products to the university community and other groups of interest.
     
  • Becoming a service of recognised professional prestige within the university community and other groups of interest, based on the continuous improvement of our processes, procedures and services.

a) Ensuring the reliability of the information, the exhaustiveness of the reports and the clarity of the results (even through alliances).
b) Giving appropriate technical support to the units that request it.

The SAP guarantees the compliance of the guidelines of this policy, which are regulated by the SGQ_SAP, and the current legislation. For its development, the SAP will effectively act according to the compliance of both its Mission and its Services Charter.
 

Therefore, the SAP demonstrates its commitment to quality through the establishment of a Quality Management System based on the regulation UNE–EN–ISO 9001: 2008, providing the necessary resources for its implementation, maintenance and supervision, with the purpose of influencing the continuous improvement of its services.
 

Likewise, the SAP agrees to comply and disseminate this QUALITY POLICY, so it can be understood by its staff and other users and groups of interest.
