1. Blended Intensive Programmes (Blended Intensive Programmes - BIPs)
What are they
They are a combination of short-term physical mobility (usually 5 days) with a virtual component that uses innovative teaching methods.
The virtual component can take place before, during, or after the physical mobility.
Who organizes it
They are organized by a consortium that must include 3 universities from 3 different European countries participating in the Erasmus+ program.
The organizing university is the host university, where the physical component of the program takes place.
It is an essential requirement to have a minimum attendance of 15 incoming students.
Duration
The physical mobility can last from 5 to 30 days.
The virtual mobility does not set a minimum or maximum duration. It will depend on each BIP.
ECTS Recognition
Participation in a BIP grants 3 ECTS credits to students (combined physical and virtual component).
In BIPs organized by the University of Valencia, in addition to international students, local students from our university can also participate. They will also receive recognition of 3 ECTS if they are undergraduate students.
