The UV research groups (GIUV) are regulated in the 1st chapter of the Regulation ACGUV48/2013, which explains the procedure for creating new research structures. They are basic research and organizational structures that result from the voluntary association of researchers that share objectives, facilities, resources and common lines of research. These researchers are also committed to the consolidation and stability of their activity, work in groups and the capability to achieve a sustainable funding.
The research groups included in the previously mentioned Regulation are registered in the Register of Research Structures of the Universitat de València (REIUV), managed by the Office of the Vice-principal for Research. The basic information of these organisms can be found in this website.

Description of research activity: The linguistic and cultural study will delve into the review of contrastive elements in English, Chinese and Spanish and the interest of different topics. Those that attract the most about China in different linguistic and cultural environments will be analyzed, both in English and Spanish, classifying them by cultural, social, economic or geopolitical aspects. The composition, editing, revision or adaptation of texts, whether original or translated, will aim to analyze the interest and impact that the topics attract when published in different media in specialized blogs. The translation review will focus on cultural aspects to improve the understanding of linguistically and culturally distant elements.

Research lines: - Topics about China and its Culture.Research into interest in English-speaking and Spanish-speaking countries in the most interesting topics relating to China and its culture, contrasting different cultural, social, geopolitical, and economic elements.
- Translation and Cultural Analysis.The translation analysis of distant languages such as English, Chinese and Spanish will focus on the linguistic and cultural expression of concepts. Priority will be given to reviewing the understanding and development of complex cultural elements through various translation strategies.
