The Department of Economic Analysis (DAE) has contributed for nearly five decades to the training of a large number of economists, some of whom are professionally engaged in research in universities, public institutions, regulatory bodies and specialized centres in Europe and the United States.

Workshop Anaeco 2015 aims to become a meeting point, a place for presenting research results and exchanging experiences among current members and former students or researchers of the DAE.

The subjects covered in sessions of the Workshop correspond to many different areas of the current micro and macroeconomic research, both theoretical and applied. Among other problems of interest, it includes sessions dedicated to economic development, fiscal policy, competitiveness, innovation, education and human capital, financial regulation, industrial economics and labour economics. In all cases the projects presented are backed by reputable researchers’ careers.

The DAE invites to participate in the workshop sessions to all its members and colleagues belonging to other departments of the Faculty of Economics, Master’s degree and Doctoral Programme students and anyone interested in the issues under discussion.
