Access to the contents subscribed by the University of Valencia from Google Scholar

  • June 30th, 2021

Google Scholar is a Google search engine that limits results to the world of academic research: academic publishers, professional societies, repositories, universities, and other academic organizations. Students, professors and researchers at the University of Valencia can easily find information with a wide variety of types: reports, theses, papers, books or scientific articles.

Now, accessing Google Scholar from a computer on the University of Valencia network -or from home with the VPN connected-, you can find on the right side of the results the heading "Disponible en@UV" if the content is subscribed by the library . Clicking on the link you access our Trobes catalog, and from there directly to the full text.

However, while Google Scholar is a very comprehensive tool, it does not cover some of the library's content. In the Trobes catalog, in addition to electronic resources, you can find printed or physical material: it contains all our library book and audiovisual references and can be used to find printed material and multimedia content.
