The libraries of the University of Valencia offer extraordinary hours for the December holidays and the month of January, coinciding with the study period for the first semester exams.
Joan Reglà Humanities Library which is open every Saturday and Sunday of the academic year, will open on the long weekend of December, from Saturday 4 to Wednesday 8. The rest of the libraries will remain closed. The Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library will close from 3 pm on December 3 for maintenance.
Area libraries will open on weekends in December. Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences (Floor -1) and Health Sciences libraries will open on the weekends of December 11-12 and December 18-19 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
During the Christmas period, the Humanities and Sciences Library will open 24 hours a day. The two libraries will open from December 27 to January 27. On these dates the Social Sciences Library (Floor -1) and the Education Library will open until 2 in the morning. On December 24, 25, 26 and January 1,2 and 6, all libraries and archives will be closed. On December 31 and January 5, the open libraries will close at 2:30 p.m
Health Sciences Library will open on the weekends of January 8-9, 15-16 and 22-23 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
