Dialnet

Dialnet is a portal for the dissemination of Hispanic scientific production whose operation began in 2001. Specialized in human and social sciences, the portal is managed by the Dialnet Foundation of the University of La Rioja.

Its database, freely accessible, constitutes a virtual library that contains the indexes of scientific and humanistic journals from Spain, Portugal and Latin America, also including books (monographs), doctoral theses, conferences, tributes and other types of documents. The full text of many of the documents is available online.

Libraries from numerous Spanish and Latin American universities and public and specialized libraries collaborate on the portal that dump magazines and books summaries. They also manage the author pages, which collect scientific works published by professors and researchers from universities. The libraries of the University of Valencia have participated in the Dialnet project since 2005.

In the Foundation's Activities Report you can consult the work carried out by our libraries and the other collaborating libraries throughout 2019. The University of Valencia has collaborated by emptying 4,283 journal articles, 2,402 book chapters, and has revised or added 5,362 author pages.
