After 15 years with Millennium the Library of the University of València is going to change its management system to ALMA, a last generation platform.
Why do we change? The large number of applications used at university libraries and the cooperation with other institutions has made this change essential. The program migration will be done by the universities of València, UJI, Alicante and Miguel Hernández. The Polytechnic already did it previously. Five Valencian public universities will have the same software, which take us towards a collective catalog and a future Valencian library consortium.
