On Friday 31st of May, the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication awarded 12 prizes to the winners of the four modalities of the contest Trau la Llengua. With the participation of more than seventy students of Compulsory and Higher Secondary Education, the competition was held on April 12th, co-organised by the UV Delegation for Students.

 

The first prize of the category for digital storytelling was awarded to the team formed by Álvaro Espeso, Juan Terrer, María Martí and Jorge Terrer (Colegio Sagrado Corazón HH Maristas Valencia), with the story First day at university. The second prize was given to the story named Asfixia, produced by Óscar Ginés García, Candela Gómez Pérez, José Antonio Romero Broseta and Aina García Chofre (IES Vicent Andrés Estellés of Burjassot), while the third price was given to Itizar de Madaria, Raquel Giménez, Lucía Martínez and Carmen Argandoña (Patronato Juventud Obrera Sagrada Familia), for Narcissisme i xarxes socials: la nova malaltia del s. XXI.

In the category for microstories, the awarded stories were: 1st prise: La voleuse du temps, by Isabel Cuéllar Coscollá (HH Maristas); 2nd prize: Flawlessly sick, by Inma García García (Julio Verne); and 3rd prize: Terapia de desintoxicación, by Teresa Nieto Pérez (HH Maristas). Paula Martínez (Escuelas San José Jesuitas) has received an honorary mention by the microstory A mysterious girlfriend.

The three awards in the micropoem category were given to the students of Gençana High School, a podium leaded by Sofía Capdevila Rodríguez, with Narcissist society, and followed by Melissa Fernández Gómez, with A life without plastic; and Mateo Gajic Sales, with El mundo digital es otro mundo. The honorable mention in the micropoem category was given to Moisés Vélez Sanchis (Escoles d’Artesans), for La carta de Mariam / Mai serà vençut.

Borja Gosálbez Mulet (HH Maristas) won the forst prizr in the category for comic, with Com afecten les xarxes socials les relacions afectives? while Quique Pomer Subiela (IES Vicent Andrés Estellés Burjassot), author of Disco, received the second prize. Ainhoa Gomis Oltra (HH Maristas) has obtained the third prize by Laia a la universitat.
