In this paper we set out some of the reflections derived from one of the ideas participating in this competition under the slogan LABHUIR.

    The work "The Past in His Place. Archaeological heritage, development and tourism” collects contributions from the Third Debate Days of the Museum of Prehistory of Valencia (Spain). The main objective of the conferences was to reflect on the possibilities offered by sustainable tourism management of the archaeological heritage and its impact on the territory. It is intended to reflect on the extent to which heritage projects can find in tourism a way of preserving and profiting culturally, socially and economically and the role of each of the actors in this system of relations.

The conceptual foundations of marketing science are generally the same in all sectors: a good market orientation aiming at creating value for all stakeholders of the company (mainly consumers, shareholders and employees). However, the probability of success in business decisions increases when the company defines its target audience and market well and implements strategies and policies adapted to the specificities of that market. The aim of this book is to address, for the marketing area, this growing specialisation in sectors of activity, which requires more specific and sectorial knowledge.
