The following objectives are proposed to address issues raised in the Opportunities block of SWOT analysis:
- Update our range of official qualifications while taking into account changing needs in the field of education and the new professional profiles required by society (ES-O1).
- Improve the stability, career progression and working conditions of the PDI and the PTGAS (EL-O3).
- Develop and make visible a range of course offerings that meets society’s need for lifelong learning (EP-O1).
- Improve the employment prospects of UV graduates (EP-O1).
- Enhance the international dimension of our qualifications (ES-O2).
- Promote the sustainability of the University of Valencia and raise awareness among our university community (ES-O4; EM-O1).
- Promote the values of cooperation (ES-O4).
- Promote a model of university management based on the values of equality, sustainability, solidarity and transparency in all our activities (ES-O4).
- Mainstream gender perspective and gender equality in diversity in teaching and research (ES-O4).
- Develop multilingualism within the UV community and promote the UV’s own language (ES-O2).
- Actively seek the best possible funding for the UV to develop its Mission, Vision and Strategic Objectives (EL-O1; EM-O1).
- Streamline management so that the institution’s digital processes and structures are adapted to the needs of their users (ES-O3).
- Consolidate and improve electronic administration for registration, filing and notification (ET-O3).
- Promote quality research and its projection to society (EE-O1; ET-O2; EL-O2; ESP-O1).
- Improve the conditions in which research is conducted at the UV (ET-O2; EL-O2; ESP-O1).
- Promote research with the potential for transfer to society. Identify transferable knowledge from our research activity (EE-O1; ET-O1; EL-O2).
- Strengthen the UV’s policy of alliances with public and private organisations to promote and facilitate the transfer of R+D+I in our area of influence (EL-O2).
- Strengthen the culture of both individual and collective entrepreneurship based on conventional companies or social economy formulas and stimulate the research value chain with transfer capacity (EE-O1; EL-O2).
