The female representation within the governing, administrative and management bodies of our University is significantly lower than male. Women do not participate on an equal footing with men in decision-making bodies and this situation is a loss for the entire university community

The Cloister
Advances towards equality in the representation of the staff of the University of Valencia in the Senate have been very significant. Over the years, the distance between male and female representation has been reduced to a satisfactory situation from the point of view of equity (60-40), although it is an inversely proportional relationship to the distribution by sex that we find in the feminized groups of students and PAS.
