Comics and Health

Health Sciences Library invites you next April 28th, at 12 noon in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine to celebrate the month of the book 2022.
The theme of the day will be "Comic and Health in the library. Book Day 2022". 

The main objective is to make visible the didactic potential of the use of comics in health sciences studies. We will have a talk with the professors of Physiology Carlos Romá and Gloria Olaso, and with Álvaro Pons, director of the Aula del Cómic of the Universitat de València.

 
Some topics will be discussed such as the educational innovation project through comics "Graphic Physiology 3.0" developed by the Department of Physiology of the UV and its Reading Club "Graphic Medicine" and the presentation of the contest FisioCómic: National Contest of Physiology Comics, which celebrates its second edition this year.

We will also present the library's specialised collection of comics and the informative blog "Sala d'Espera". All this will be accompanied by information stands and gifts from the library.
