Exhibition at the Education Library

The Department of Language and Literature Didactics of the Faculty of Education, with the collaboration of the Education Library "María Moliner", has inaugurated the exhibition "Reading, education and gender". The exhibition shows that education and culture, so necessary for coexistence and for the intellectual development of people, have been manipulated at many points in history and have intervened in the social, economic, cultural and ideological role of women, with unjust exclusions and harmful instrumentalisations based on texts that deal with the role of reading and literature in the discrimination of the female gender and in their worldview of the world.

The exhibition is structured and divided into two spaces: the first part in the Faculty of Education foyer, and the second part in the "María Moliner" Education Library.
