Ana Ferrer Romero

 Ana Ferrer Romero, Faculty member of the Archives and Libraries Corps of the Universitat de València, passed away last Saturday 4th June 2022.

Ana Ferrer Romero entered by competitive examination in 1987, beginning her professional career at the Col.legi Universitari de Castelló, dependent on the Universitat de València. After his transfer to Valencia, he started working in the Unitat Tècnica de Coordinació Bibliotecària, in central sections.

Her next assignment was at the Tarongers Campus, in the Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library, where she was in charge of coordinating acquisitions. Her last job, as of 2018, was Head of the Information Resources Management Section, in the central sections of the Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació, until illness prevented her from continuing her work.

In addition to all her professional virtues, Ana was able to connect with her colleagues with great empathy. We will always remember her patience and affection, her exquisite treatment, and her sincere kindness in her personal dealings.  Our condolences to all her colleagues at all her work destinations and especially to her family.
