Transformative agreements are new contracts negotiated between libraries or consortia and publishers that transform the current business model of scholarly journal publishing. They are characterised by including in the journal subscription the price of publishing in open access.

The Universitat de València participates in the transformative Springer Nature - CRUE - CSIC agreement, which finances the publication of articles in open access at no additional cost to the author.

Springer Nature offers an author workshop to be held on Tuesday 15 March 2022 from 12.00 to 13.00. The workshop will be held online.

The aim of this author workshop is to show in detail the process that authors have to follow in order to be able to publish their articles in open access under the transformative agreement between Crue and Springer Nature.
