Master Journal List is a tool that allows you to consult a complete list of journals included in the Web of Science Core Collection and other specialized collections.
In its latest update, Clarivate has removed 83 journals from its Master Journal List.
Clarivate updates the Master Journal List of titles included in Web of Science on a monthly basis. It removed 83 journals from its indexes in March, according to a blog post by Nandita Quaderi, editor-in-chief and vice president of Web of Science, for failing to meet 24 quality criteria, such as adequate peer review, appropriate citations, and content that is relevant to the journal's stated scope.
Removing a journal from Web of Science means that Clarivate will no longer index its articles, count its citations, or give the title an impact factor.
Of the 83 journals removed, 19 are from Hindawi Publishing.
