On Thursday, April 25, the exhibition "Trobes: 550 years of printing in Valencia" was inaugurated with the presence of the rector of the University of Valencia, Mavi Mestre Escrivà, accompanied by the director of the SBD, Cristina Tomàs Martínez, and the director of the library, Mª Jesús García Mateu, as well as the curators of the exhibition. It was not only limited to the local scene, since it was also attended by the rectors of the European universities of the Forthem alliance, thus strengthening academic ties at an international level.

The exhibition, which will remain open until September 8 in the Duque de Calabria and Bigues halls of La Nau Cultural Center, offers a unique experience for all visitors. In the first room, visitors will be able to admire the original copy of the Trobes, as well as a selection of incunabula from the University's collection, while the Bigues room promises a fascinating immersion into the world of printing, exploring its invention and diffusion throughout Europe.
