UNIRIS

The Spanish Consortiums and Purchasing Groups Board, made up of CBUG, CBUA, BUCLE, Madroño, CSUC, UNIRIS, G9, REBIUN and CSIC, expresses its gratitude for the support that scientific publishers have offered to the academic and scientific institutions of our country, opening some of its content and collections during the global health crisis.

However, worried about the economic challenge that the COVID-19 crisis will entail in our institutions and the difficulty of maintaining the levels of scientific information that we are offering in our institutions, has prepared a joint Declaration that will be sent to all publishers with whom they have a business relationship.

The purpose of this Declaration is to express the enormous concern that exists regarding the budgetary challenge that the health crisis of COVID-19 is producing in the institutions represented at the Board.

The Library and Documentation Service of the Universitat de València has been a member of the UNIRIS purchasing group since 2000.
