The Degree in International Business answers the needs of local companies and bodies who work in an international context. In a more and more globalized economy, public companies and institutions need specialists who will support the process of internationalization. Students will learn the knowledge and gain the tools required to make economic and financial, business and marketing decisions. At the same time, they will be able to consider the determining factors and the international repercussions. As a result, students acquire the skills to manage the international development of a company. They also obtain the skills to work in the international institutions involved in transactions and international cooperation. That is why the degree concentrates on the analysis of the international economy and learning languages, especially English.


 

In this degree, there are two teaching groups, one in English (A) and one in Spanish (B). To enter the English group, students must prove their level of the language with a test.

Students must study part of their degree at a foreign university. If they stay there for more than three or four semesters, they can attain a double degree: one from the University of Valencia, and the other from the foreign university where the student has studied.

Students must choose one of the three academic pathways or curricular reinforcements available. Each of the academic pathways corresponds to one of the main professional profiles of this degree. To enrol on one of the academic pathways, students must have passed 102 credits. The order of preference for entrance is based on the average grade of those 102 credits.

The content of the final project must be related with the external internships.
