The visual identification of an institution is one of the basic elements of its identity. An identity is the set of values, characteristics, conceptual aspects, physical aspects and actions that, together with a set of attributes, define its essence as an institution. The visual identity of the Universitat de València, as an institution, is based on its own values as an institution, its origins and its evolution over time. It is a set of graphic elements that identify and distinguish the university as a whole as well as each of the centres, institutes, departments, services and units that make up a large, extensive and diverse institution such as our university.

The visual identity of the Universitat de València allows the institution to be recognised and identified by the public, as well as by other organisations and institutions with which it interacts in relation to training, research, knowledge transfer and the generation and dissemination of culture and scientific activities. At the same time, it allows the UV to maintain visual harmony and coherence across the wide range of communication media available with today’s technology, as well as for the UV’s many broadcasters.
