From the Science Park Foundation of the Universitat de València (FPCUV) we invite you to the “1st Conferences day on Cybersecurity in the Health and Biotechnology Industry“ on Friday, 4 July 2025 at the Marie Curie Auditorium of the UV Science Park. The event is organised by the INCIBE-UPV Cybersecurity Chair, included in the programme of Spanish Cybersecurity Chairs, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, with funding of the Next GenerationEU Funds, and the Science Park Foundation of the Universitat de València (FPCUV). It is to be held on-site and can be followed online as well via streaming. Registration is free.

The goal of this first edition is to offer an updated version of the most relevant regulatory frameworks, as well as sharing practical experiences of entities that have already applied effective cybersecurity strategies. Additionally, the dialogue between public institutions, technological companies, health centres and agents of the innovative ecosystem will be promoted.

Who is it addressed to?

The day is addressed to professionals of the health and biotechnology industry, both from public and private centres; managers of information, compliance and security systems; technological companies and specialised consulting companies; researchers, start-ups and entities of the innovative panorama who might be interested in digital protection; as well as students and academics linked to disciplines such as computer science, engineering, health or biotechnology.

Among the speakers and participants, we find experts from the INCIBE-UPV Cybersecurity Chair, Mobiliza Consulting, S2 Grupo, Kiwa, the Francesc de Borja Hospital, the Valencian Institute of Oncology (IVO), the IFIC, Dawako and ADM Biópolis, among others.
