Congress organised by students of the Master's Degree in Virology at the UV. It will be attended by renowned researchers and communicators in the field.
The Virology Conference, which will be held on 19 and 20 February at the Charles Darwin Hall on the Burjassot-Paterna Campus, is an event organised by students of the Master’s Degree in Virology at the University of Valencia. It offers a unique environment for the exchange of ideas through a programme that includes presentations, poster sessions and debates.
This fourth edition will begin with two plenary lectures: the first will be delivered by Fernando Simón, medical epidemiologist and Director of the Coordination Centre for Health Alerts and Emergencies of the Ministry of Health; the second will be given by Luis Enjuanes, research professor at the CSIC and a world-renowned expert on coronaviruses.
Specialists in science communication will also take part, such as Lucía Almagro, known on social media as @diariodeunacientifica, and José Antonio López Guerrero, among others.
Registration is free and open to students, teaching staff, researchers and the general public interested in the field of virology.
