The CSIC researcher will inaugurate the afternoon open activities from the Summer University in the Jardín de la Casa de la Marquesa (7:30pm)
Fernando Valladares (Mar del Plata, Argentina, 1965) is a referent of science dissemination in Spain and an example of how a researcher with an excellent scientific trajectory to a global first level can transfer knowledge to society in such a transcendental field as the environment is.
PhD in Biological Sciences by the Complutense University of Madrid, Valladares is a research professor at the CSIC, where he manages the group in Ecology and Global Change at the Natural Sciences National Museum, as well as adjunct professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University.
