The system can behave in various ways depending on the configuration set by admins. If users authenticate via digital certificate and the system doesn’t detect their prior registration, it can behave in a variety of ways by:

• Not allowing access to the user.
• Allowing the user to auto-register, but not without admin validation.
• Or even allowing direct user auto-registration, operable once the registration process is finalised.

If admins configured the application like so, users who access Viafirma Inbox with their certificates for the first time will be redirected to the registration form.
