It is a complementary library to the rest of the libraries of the University of Valencia. It is the download or deposit library of the libraries of the University of Valencia.
Its functions are:
-Foster the freeing up of space in the libraries of the University of Valencia to dedicate it to other uses.
-Guarantee the permanence and custody of bibliographic funds that have little use in libraries, but that must be preserved for their scientific and patrimonial value.
-Ensure the access of these documents of little use to the users of the university and other external libraries.
-Custodian, together with the "Eduard Boscà" Sciences Library, the doctoral theses of the university.
