Helena Gimeno Ibáñez, a student at the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, has won a 9.7" iPad in a prize draw among students who participated in the Library and Documentation Service (SBD) satisfaction survey at the University of Valencia.
The award ceremony took place yesterday at the Rectorate building and was presided over by the Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer, Carlos Hermenegildo Caudevilla, who presented the prize. Also in attendance were Cristina Tomás Martínez, Director of the SBD, and Concepción González Nieves, Quality Technician of the Service.
The iPad draw is part of the annual satisfaction survey campaign that the Library and Documentation Service has conducted since the 2012/2013 academic year. The survey aims to gather feedback from the university community on the management and services provided by the libraries.
This year, 7,356 students took part in the survey, rating the University of Valencia libraries with an average score of 4.43 out of 5. Based on the survey results, the SBD’s Self-Assessment Committee analyzes the data and proposes targeted improvements for each library as well as general improvements across the entire Service.
The SBD thanks all participating students for their valuable input and remains committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs and expectations of the university community.
