The purpose of the Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació is to provide excellent and sustainable information resources, spaces, and services for learning, teaching, research, and culture, which will contribute to the achievement of the Universitat de València’s strategy. 

The mission is to manage the University’s information resources and bibliographic and documentary heritage, facilitate their access and dissemination, and collaborate in the process of creating and transferring knowledge. The services provided are aimed at contributing to the institution's goals and are directed at the university community and society at large. 

The vision of the service is to be recognized by our stakeholders as an excellent, innovative, sustainable, and highly valuable public service for the University and society.
