The director of the Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació is the person responsible for the management and operation of the Service, and is appointed by the Rector in accordance with current regulations

• SBD Comission. Composition

The Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació Comission is the collegiate body that involves all sectors of the university community in the planning and development of the Service. 

• Users Comissions. Composition

The library user commissions are communication and participation bodies for the users of each library in its management, where the institutions are duly represented. 

• Technical Board. Composition

The Technical Board of the Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació is the participatory, consultative, and advisory body for the Management and the Commission of the Library and Documentation Service. It is responsible for technical and internal management aspects with the aim of unifying criteria and streamlining work across all libraries and archives. 

• Quality Committee. Composition

The Quality Committee of the Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació is the participatory, consultative, and advisory body responsible for the implementation and control of quality management in archives and libraries. 

By participating in the service's self-assessment, it oversees improvements, ensuring that processes, their documentation, and services are continuously optimized to meet established quality standards. Additionally, it defines and implements communication channels to identify the needs and expectations of different stakeholder groups.
