The change has resulted in new image dimensions that must be respected by web publishers in order to ensure homogeneity and clarity in the publication.

From now on, images of events must have a mandatory size of 850x596 pixels, significantly larger than the previous size of 540x378 pixels. This size gives prominence to the image in the new UVevents reproduction format, so it is necessary for web publishers to pay attention to the quality of the image used, as it has become the most eye-catching element in the new agenda format. 

This is the only change incorporated to migrate to this new format. The rest of the fields in the creation of an event for AgendaUV are filled in as before. 

Please remember that the format of the image to be uploaded to the event must be .jpg or .png. One of the most common mistakes made by editors is to embed a different document, usually .pdf, in the field reserved for the image, which leads the validator to reject it, request a valid image, and ultimately delays its publication.

This change aims to give more relevance to a section such as UVevents, one of the most visited by a 'What to do' style information, which contains dozens of daily options organised by the centres and entities of the UV, such as conferences, debates, congresses, round tables, cinema, theatre, dance, music, courses, calls for scholarships and grants, campaigns, academic and institutional events, etc, all within the scope of the Universitat de València.

Recommendations

For greater effectiveness in the dissemination of UV events, it is recommended to provide as much information as possible in the 'Description' field and to write a text that, without necessarily being extensive, does go in-depth, for example, into the content of an exhibition, the matter of a conference or workshop, or the biography of its authors, speakers or participants, among other aspects.
