The Unit

The Web and Marketing Unit (WMU) of the Universitat de València (UV) promotes web publishing in a collaborative environment and manages different UV corporate marketing dimensions. One of its goals is to assist people responsible for managing content of different web spaces in all its aspects, from the daily accompaniment of the editor task via the support service available at www.uv.es/suport, to on-site training as well as that of manuals and tutorials available on this web portal. 

The WMU is also the Unit Responsible for Web Accessibility and Mobile Applications, in accordance to what’s established by the Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September

Likewise, it ensures control over regulatory mechanisms for an efficient and effective use of corporate social networks offered by the UV on the Internet to facilitate UV corporate communication and information activities, as well as those of different other centres, bodies, services and institutional units. The goal is to coordinate and harmonise advertising messages via a correct use of basic identification and communication elements, by means of its corporate identity.

Preserving an appropriate use of graphic elements which shape the UV’s Institutional and Visual Identity is another one of the WMU’s functions.
