The activity will take two complementary sessions and the registration implies the assistance to both days.

Cyanotype is a process of old photographic impression that produces blue-cyan impressions. It consists of an exhibition of areas (papers, fabrics, woods...) treated with a solution that reacts with sun light or UV producing the wished impression in blue tones, achieving unique and precise prints. In this course we will learn to use the adequate techniques for the impression in cyanotype of photography, online pictures, hand made drawings, plants or objects for blocking the light and we will get to know all the process to create our own cyanotypes at home.

Amparo Pons Martí is retired Full University Professor on Optics from the Universitat de València. She developed her work and research labour in the Physics Faculty of the Universitat de València. Throughout her career, she has taught many subjects related to the creation of pictures in general and specially with photography, topic that also constitutes one of her hobbies. 

Currently she is still part of the Archimedes Work Group of Physics with which she participates in numerous Physics dissemination activities forwarded to professors and non-university students and to the general public.

For many years she has been part of the Amics i Antics Alumnes collective in the Universitat de València and inside the programme Alumni Comparteix she has taught three workshop-courses of introduction into photography.
