New economic development ways, based mainly on knowledge due to the unstoppable advances of technology, make much more necessary than ever to face these new economic and social challenges from training. Historically countryside regions like la Canal de Navarrés, have before enormous occasions to seize these challenges through education.

The will of the sevent edition of the “Universidad de Otoño de Enguera”, UOE (Enguera’s Autumn University), organised by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Society of the Universitat de València, together with Enguera’s City Hall and IES Enguera (Enguera’s High School), tries to get Enguera and the region closer to the university, as a means to face these new challenges.

UOE’s nature is mainly disseminative and is therefore an open forum to participate in. It is thought for a wide spectrum of people: from secondary education, education cycle and university students to professors, retirees, unemployed, public workers and people from any other group. Registration is free due to the partaking of the Universitat de València and the Valencian Provincial Council. Applicants can get a certificate of assistance by registering beforehand.
