The deadline to apply for the Fora de classe (Outstanding) grants for the second term is from 1 to 25 February. This call for grants offers financial support and advising to the student body of the Universitat de València for the organisation and execution of sociocultural activities. An online briefing for the interested students will be held this Thursday, 15 February.

Fora de classe can grant up to a maximum of €2500 per project to organise a conference or a training workshop, publish a magazine, set a photographic exhibition, or promote an awareness-raising programme on a topic of interest. These are some examples of sociocultural activities that can be organised with the support of the Fora de classe grants, promoted by the Students Delegations and managed by the Information and Promotion Service for Students (Sedi). 

Two application periods open every academic year, one per term, with a specific period in which the activities to be supported must be developed. In the second deadline for the academic year 2023-2024, open until 25 February, projects for activities to be developed from 1 April to 31 October 2024 can be submitted. 

The ultimate goal of Fora de classe is to encourage students to get involved in the sociocultural programming of the Universitat de València by contributing proposals and carrying them out in all its phases, as well as sharing an experience with colleagues and professionals with common interests. 

The Sedi offers an advisory service for those who wish or need it, both in the presentation of the application and in the design and implementation of the project.
