At the end of the registration period, a total of 632 students have registered this year for the June edition of the Accreditation Test of Foreign Language Proficiency (PACLE), organised by the Language Centre of Universitat de València.

Last year, this same exam could not be held due to confinement, which meant that many students had to wait until the October exam to be able to opt for one of the official accreditations offered by the UV’s Language Centre. This year, however, the number of enrolments returned to the normality lost in 2020, with enrolments similar to, and even higher than, those of the years before the pandemic.

*The German B2 exams are only held in October.

The UV’s Language Centre, through PACLE, offers anyone who registers for these exams the possibility to obtain official B1, B2 and C1 certificates in English, as well as B2 certificates in French and German. These are the main foreign languages accreditations required to obtain some degrees, postgraduate studies, masters, scholarships, and of course, to be able to take courses and stays abroad via the Erasmus Programme or any exchange programme.
The PACLE exams will take place this year on 22, 23 and 25 June. These exams, held by the UV’s Language Centre, are endorsed by the Association of Foreign Languages Centres in Higher Education (ACLES), through the CertAcles seal, and recognised by the CRUE (Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities), by the Government of the Valencian Community and the regional governments of Aragon, the Canary Islands, Castilla-León, Catalonia, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, and also by the Ministry of Defence of the Spanish Government.
