The University of Valencia and the University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe promotes the Chair of Physical Exercise and Childhood Cancer, which is founded by Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). The department of Marketing and Communication designed and published its new web, aligned with the project´s objectives.
The Chair, under the leadership of Inmaculada Aparicio y Júlia Balaguer, seek to promote scientific knowledge and research, as well as to inform the public about the effects of physical exercise on children with cancer and with oncological treatment.
For this reason, the project has created a program of supervised physical exercise for the minors, in line with the main objective of the chair, which addresses the assessment of physical biomechanical, physiological impact of the exercise on tolerance to cancer treatments and promotes he integration of the physical exercise into such treatment.
