The University of Valencia together with Facsa y Sitra have promoted Green Horizon Chair: Water-Bioenergy Nexus, that is looking for the solutions to the new challenges in the sustainable management of water and bio-waste.
The department of Marketing and Communication within the UV Chairs program, has designed and published its website to facilitate the dissemination of its scientific and educational activities. The aim is to promote the objectives of the project, such as education and specialization of the students, generate knowledge from applied research and to implement innovative solutions in the environments with real needs.
The department, led by Josep Ribes Bertomeu, visions its project as a moving towards a more circular, low-carbon, sustainable economy. To this aim, lines in action were established, such as anaerobic wastewater treatment, co-digestion of organic waste, Wastewater Sludge Management (EDAR), study about advanced technologies to obtain bioenergy and to promote talent and innovation in the University-Business axis.
