In the beginning of the XX century, in between of the villages established throughout the Laguar valley, in the Marina Alta, a new one appeared that took the name of the valley where its people settled. An open valley in the sea surrounded by mountains from where it was possible to see the horizon but that was hidden from the villages nearby.
The exhibition offers visitors the possibility of go trough and discover the city of Fontilles through the images, the objects and the voices of its residents. It is an invitation to touch, look and listen what the residents of this hidden city show and tell, hoping to pique the interest and awake the curiosity of a place seemingly so different and in reality so similar to any other.
The story of this objects, images, documents and voices is the story of those who used them during their lives and kept them to preserve their memory.
