Within this program, information is provided regarding the current regulations at the University of Valencia (UV) and their exceptions and adjustments for students with disabilities. This includes exemption from tuition fees, reserved places, permanence regulations, and limits on exam attempts, as well as information on scholarships, training courses, internships, and Erasmus support, among others.
Additionally, specific educational needs are assessed through an individual interview, and the appropriate adjustments are proposed according to the student’s disability.
Throughout the entire process, educational and/or vocational guidance is provided to assist students in making informed decisions regarding their university studies.
This program offers information on:
- 5% reserved places: In any official degree program for individuals officially recognized as having a disability of 33% or higher or those with equivalent status*.
- Exemption from public tuition fees: For undergraduate, doctoral, and official master’s or postgraduate programs, as well as for the issuance of transcripts and degree certificates. Eligible individuals are those with a recognized disability of 33% or higher or those with equivalent status.
- Class group change: Requests must be submitted to the faculty’s administration office within the deadline established for all students. Each faculty will review the request, considering, if necessary, a report from UVdiscapacidad regarding individual needs, along with other determining factors such as classroom capacity.
- Adaptation of the permanence regulations to adjust the needs of students with disabilities, based on an individual assessment.

Additionally, we offer guidance on:
- Academic matters: Schedule planning, study techniques, credit selection, and part-time enrollment.
- Vocational guidance.
- Internships.
- National and international mobility programs (INCOMING) (OUTGOING).
We also provide guidance to teaching and administrative staff (PDI and PAS) regarding students' needs in terms of methodology, adjustmnents. personal and/or material resources, etc.
Furthermore, assessments are conducted to determine the necessary adjustments based on the student’s disability. These may include additional exam time, specific font size requirements, assistive technology, etc. After this evaluation, a technical report is issued to the responsible personnel in each case, outlining the required adjustments and resources.
A request must be submitted each semester, and if needs change, an appointment should be scheduled.

- Second semester: March 31st
