Coronavirus

• Presential external placements have been suspended on 16 March and can continue only if the enterprise is able to give the students the option of "teleplacement".
• Placements in public or private health registered centres have been suspended sine die according to a decree from 12 March 2020 from the Ministry for Public Health of the Valencian government, as well as placements in judicial bodies, according to the agreement from 12 March 2020 of the Higher Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
• The coordinator of the placements of each degree must communicate with the academic and enterprise supervisors and classify each external placement into the following situations:
  • Interrupted placement: external placement that is paralysed without the possibility of continuing afterwards. In this case, the hours worked will be counted until the interruption date.
  • Paralysed placement: external placement momentarily halted with the possibility of continuing when the COVID-19 situation allows. If it could not eventually continue, it will be considered as interrupted placement (3.a) on the deadline established by the Placements Committee of each Degree.
  • Teleplacement: external placement developed remotely in a non-presential way in the enterprise or entity. It must be guaranteed that each student is remotely supervised by both tutors. Teleplacement will be supported where possible.
  • Cancelled placement: external placement that has not started even if it has been formalised by placement agreement.
• In any case, the Centre's Placements Committee will provide alternative solutions in order to guarantee the development, supervision and numerical evaluation of the placements, taking into account the degree of completion and the competences to develop with these placements for each degree, based on the following measures:
  • In all degrees, with the appropriate proceedings in the records, it will be guaranteed the evaluation of the students that finish the placements after the closure date of the records.
  • The placements coordinator of each degree will assess together with the supervisors and the students if it is possible to continue the paralysed placement, in the case of returning to normality.
  • For all degrees, in order to consider the interrupted external placements as concluded, it will be necessary to have presentially worked the 50% of hours, allowing, if necessary, the rest of hours to be completed with any kind of additional non-presential activity or activities. The Coordinator of the degree, the Coordinator of external placements and the Placements Committee of the Centre may ask the students to add complementary tasks, activities or essays to the Report that they must present. 
  • In all degree programmes, when the placements did not reach the 50% of the worked hours and the interruption is extended in a way that it is not possible to complete them during the academic year, the Coordinator of the degree, the Coordinator of external placements and the Placements Committee of the Centre will establish equivalent competency activities, such as: i) essays directed by supervisors; ii) training programmes from the Aula Virtual structured in seminars, conferences, workshops or other tools, with the participation of professional of enterprises/institutions. The Coordinator of the degree, the Coordinator of external placements and the Placements Committee of the Centre will ask the students to add complementary tasks, activities or essays to the Report that they must present. 
  • In all degree programmes, the academic acknowledgement of previous professional experience or extra-curricular placements may be considered as a substitution measure for placements. In this case, the student must provide the Placements Committee of the Centre with the required documents.
  • In the case of Master's degrees, the Director will inform the Placements Coordinator of the Centre about the situation of the already started placements and the decisions taken in this regard that will be assessed and countersigned by the Placements Committee. The possibility, if possible, of extending the rest of the practical training (or at least the 50% limit set) up to the end of the academic year may also be assessed.
  • In all degree programmes, substantial changes will be reflected in the Course Guides.
• Regarding paid placements, which consequently involve the registration in the Social Security, it should be mentioned that the contributions for the month of March have already been paid and therefore the student body is covered until 31 March. Over the next few days, the Ministry will establish the procedures for next months.

• The placement coordinator from each study degree together with the academic tutors, company supervisors, and students will evaluate whether it is possible to do the internship remotely.
• The work placements in the registered public or private health centres are suspended in line with the decree of 12 March 2020 by the Department of Public Health of the Valencian government (Generalitat Valenciana). The same concerns the placements in legal bodies according to the decree of 12 March 2020 by the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
• The placement coordinator from each study degree together with the supervisors and students will evaluate whether it is possible to do an internship on-site in case the sanitary crisis is over.
•  In any case, the External Placement Committee shall find alternative solutions to ensure the procedures, supervision, and evaluation of internship that have not started yet. The Committee shall bear in mind the number of ECTS credits and the skills to be acquired during external work placements according to the following measures:
  • All the students of all degrees shall be evaluated with due diligence even if they finish their internship after the corresponding acts have been issued.
  • In all degree programmes, if the period of activity suspension is extended and, thus, impede the internships within an academic year, the degree coordinator, the external placement Coordinator, and the External Placement Committee shall establish the activities equivalent to internships; for example, i) tutor assigned works; ii) training programmes in the Virtual Classroom organised as seminars, conferences, workshops, or other tools that include the participation of professionals from companies/institutions. A final report which is to be presented at the end of the placement shall reflect the tasks, activities, or complementary works given to a student.
  • It is possible to substitute the work placement with the previous professional experience or a prior extra-curricular work placement. In this case, the student shall accredit their prior experience before the External Placement Committee providing the required documents.
  • In certain justified cases, the students who cannot proceed with their internship remotely may fill out a favourable report of the External Placement Committee and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services and request that the enrolment in this course to be transferred to the next academic year 2020/2021 without paying extra fees.
  • In case of a Master’s degree, the administration shall inform the Coordinator of the Placement that a student has not started the internship and whether some decisions have been taken regarding the internship evaluation and accreditation by the External Placement Committee. It should be considered whether a Master student has the possibility to extend the internship (or at least 50% of it) until the end of the academic year.
  • In all degree programmes, substantial changes shall be introduced in Teaching Guides.

• The measures mentioned before should be taken. In addition, all conditions dictated by the authorities of the host country should be taken into account.
• Supervisor/s must communicate with the student/s and the enterprise or entity supervisor/s in order to assess the possibility of continuing the placement, relying on the instructions given by the host entity and the authorities of the country.
• Students may continue the placements if the situation of the area allows that, or if it allows to adopt teleplacement measures. It is recommended that students maintain permanent contact with their academic supervisors and strictly follow the instructions of the local authorities (as well as contacting the Spanish Embassy in the country, in case they are not habitually residents in the country).
• International placements starting on 16 March or after this date will not be authorised.

The teaching staff assigned to tutor a TFG or TFM will continue to carry out the tasks of guidance and monitoring of the work, and when the work is ready to be submitted, they will issue the corresponding report of the tutored work electronically.

The student will make the deposit of the TFG or TFM by the usual procedure, through the Electronic Headquarters of the Universitat de València (through Entreu) and will process by this way the request of defence and evaluation of the work, issuing an electronic version of the final work.

The defence of the TFG or TFM will be made on the date fixed by each degree or master's degree for each call, following the following indications:

• In those degrees where public defence before an evaluation panel is foreseen, this will always be done in a non-attendance way.
• The student will provide, with the advance notice determined by the panel, the material that each degree has previously indicated as suitable for monitoring the defence of the work presented (summary, transparencies, presentation on the air, etc.).
• If the Final Degree Project Committee, or the CCA (Academic Committee) in the case of master's degrees, considers it necessary to complement the material submitted for the defence with a video conference, the panel will inform each person of the day and time and the format in which the conference will be held, which will be limited, for all purposes, to the submission of a few questions per panel of the panel and/or a brief discussion with the student.
• Priority will be given to using the Universitat de València's video-conference platforms, which guarantee connections for all those involved in defence and adequate security: Blackboard Collaborate or Teams.
• The qualification of TFG and TFM, and the communication of the grade to the student, will be done in the usual way and respecting the LOPD.

Generally, it will be facilitated that the student body can carry out and defend the TFG and TFM within the established deadlines and always within the calls and the academic calendar set for the 2019-2020 academic year.

In those cases, in which the TFG or TFM require experimental data, the work will be done with the data that the student had at the time the alarm situation was caused.

If the student does not have his own data, or they are not enough to be able to make the presentation and discussion of the results and conclusions required by the TFG or TFM, the tutor will be able to provide the student with the necessary data because he can make the proposed work. In this case, it will be necessary to delimit and sign in a document the authorship or, if applicable, co-authorship of the work, delimiting it and clarifying it according to the typologies foreseen in article 7 of the Revised Text of the Law on Intellectual Property.

Only in cases where it was impossible to adequately perform the TFG or TFM assigned, and it is also impossible to reconsider it, one of the following alternatives may be arbitrated:

• Extend the deadline for the submission and defence of the TFG and TFM because sufficient data are available to carry out the work, in an extended time frame within the 2019-20 academic year and no later than October 16, 2020.
• To transfer the student's TFG or TFM registration to the following academic year 2020-21, with no cost for this course.

In these cases, the Final Degree Project Committee, or the CCA (Academic Committee) in the case of master's degrees, will have to justify the impossibility of completing the TFG or TFM within the previously established deadlines, for which it may require a brief report from the tutor of the work.

The choice of one or the other of these alternatives will be made considering the opinion of the student and the tutor.

When the application of this instruction to a degree is considered necessary to adapt and/or modify the performance, defence and/or assessment criteria set out in the Verification Report, an addendum to the TFG or TFM course guide will be made. This addendum will directly modify these aspects for this exceptional and temporary situation.

Likewise, students who may be affected by any decision or modification will be adequately informed sufficiently in advance.

However, the interruption of in-site academic activities does not imply their total suspension. As of Monday 23 March, classroom-based teaching will be replaced, as far as possible and in accordance with the specific characteristics of each degree course, by online teaching through the Virtual Classroom and the tools available on this platform.

The students enrolled in the course will be informed by the teaching staff of the course about the way in which it will be organised and taught. All communication between students and teachers will be through the Virtual Classroom and/or the institutional e-mail addresses (@uv.es, @alumni.uv.es).

However, the teaching staff will value the possibility of carrying out non-attendance activities or other types of training activities that allow the acquisition, as far as possible, of the knowledge and skills that must be acquired in these subjects.

People who are currently undertaking a mobility programme (Erasmus studies, Erasmus internship, international programme...) must follow the instructions of the health authorities and universities of the country in which they are staying.

It is highly recommended to contact the Spanish Embassies and Consulates abroad or the Emergency Consular Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: (+34) 91 394 8900.

For the student body of the Universitat de València that had a mobility stay at another university, many foreign universities have authorised online teaching to follow classes, which is considered effective mobility time regardless of the student's physical location. Students must follow the non-attendance teaching offered by foreign universities and must not register for subjects in the Universitat de València.

If the foreign university does not offer this possibility, students should contact their mobility coordinator. The coordinator will help them make the necessary arrangements to register again at the Universitat de València to try to finish the course as planned.

At this moment, it is not necessary for students to obtain any kind of stay-termination certificate if they have decided to return to the Universitat de València. Instructions will be given from the International Relations Service later on.

For students from other universities who were doing a mobility stay at the Universitat de València, from 23 March and until further notice there will be no in-site teaching activity at the Universitat de València. Only online teaching will be carried out. Non-attendance teaching at the Universitat de València may continue, even if the students have returned to their countries of origin. If the state of emergency is extended, the Universitat de València will also study the mechanisms for non-attendance evaluation if the students are unable to take their exams on the official dates.

Mobilities with a starting date after 13 March are suspended and may not therefore take place.

The Teaching and Research Staff, as well as the rest of UV’s public employees, shall simultaneously, immediately and compulsorily transfer the Human Resources – Teaching and Research Staff (servei.pdi@uv.es), via emergencies@uv.es, and your direct supervisor if you are affected by or have symptoms of coronavirus disease.

If the symptoms appear at home, please will contact the telephone number 900 300 555 and not go to your workplace. Also, make the communications mentioned in the previous paragraph to the University, and your absence will be considered justified.

If the symptoms appear at the workplace, please will inform your direct supervisor, move immediately to an enclosed space and contact 900 300 555 to take the measures indicated by the health authorities.

The University Head Office will give the necessary instructions to ventilate the space and areas where the person presenting symptoms would have been and apply the hygiene measures determined by Health and Safety and the Environment Service for these areas.

Regarding the rest of the staff that would have shared working space with the person who showed symptoms of illness, preventive measures will be taken as established by the health authorities once they have been contacted with the 900 300 555.

In any case, it is obligatory that the person who presents symptoms of illness calls 900 300 555, complies with the indicated guidelines and transfers them to the University Head Office (emergencies@uv.es) in order to be able to adopt, if necessary, preventive measures. If the test is carried out to determine whether you are infected or not, you must report the result.

  • Cancelled placement: external placement that has not started even if it has been formalised by placement agreement.
• In any case, the Centre's Placements Committee will provide alternative solutions in order to guarantee the development, supervision and numerical evaluation of the placements, taking into account the degree of completion and the competences to develop with these placements for each degree, based on the following measures:
  • In all degrees, with the appropriate proceedings in the records, it will be guaranteed the evaluation of the students that finish the placements after the closure date of the records.
  • The placements coordinator of each degree will assess together with the supervisors and the students if it is possible to continue the paralysed placement, in the case of returning to normality.
  • For all degrees, in order to consider the interrupted external placements as concluded, it will be necessary to have presentially worked the 50% of hours, allowing, if necessary, the rest of hours to be completed with any kind of additional non-presential activity or activities. The Coordinator of the degree, the Coordinator of external placements and the Placements Committee of the Centre may ask the students to add complementary tasks, activities or essays to the Report that they must present. 
  • In all degree programmes, when the placements did not reach the 50% of the worked hours and the interruption is extended in a way that it is not possible to complete them during the academic year, the Coordinator of the degree, the Coordinator of external placements and the Placements Committee of the Centre will establish equivalent competency activities, such as: i) essays directed by supervisors; ii) training programmes from the Aula Virtual structured in seminars, conferences, workshops or other tools, with the participation of professional of enterprises/institutions. The Coordinator of the degree, the Coordinator of external placements and the Placements Committee of the Centre will ask the students to add complementary tasks, activities or essays to the Report that they must present. 
  • In all degree programmes, the academic acknowledgement of previous professional experience or extra-curricular placements may be considered as a substitution measure for placements. In this case, the student must provide the Placements Committee of the Centre with the required documents.
  • In the case of Master's degrees, the Director will inform the Placements Coordinator of the Centre about the situation of the already started placements and the decisions taken in this regard that will be assessed and countersigned by the Placements Committee. The possibility, if possible, of extending the rest of the practical training (or at least the 50% limit set) up to the end of the academic year may also be assessed.
  • In all degree programmes, substantial changes will be reflected in the Course Guides.
• Regarding paid placements, which consequently involve the registration in the Social Security, it should be mentioned that the contributions for the month of March have already been paid and therefore the student body is covered until 31 March. Over the next few days, the Ministry will establish the procedures for next months.

• The placement coordinator from each study degree together with the academic tutors, company supervisors, and students will evaluate whether it is possible to do the internship remotely.
• The work placements in the registered public or private health centres are suspended in line with the decree of 12 March 2020 by the Department of Public Health of the Valencian government (Generalitat Valenciana). The same concerns the placements in legal bodies according to the decree of 12 March 2020 by the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
• The placement coordinator from each study degree together with the supervisors and students will evaluate whether it is possible to do an internship on-site in case the sanitary crisis is over.
•  In any case, the External Placement Committee shall find alternative solutions to ensure the procedures, supervision, and evaluation of internship that have not started yet. The Committee shall bear in mind the number of ECTS credits and the skills to be acquired during external work placements according to the following measures:
  • All the students of all degrees shall be evaluated with due diligence even if they finish their internship after the corresponding acts have been issued.
  • In all degree programmes, if the period of activity suspension is extended and, thus, impede the internships within an academic year, the degree coordinator, the external placement Coordinator, and the External Placement Committee shall establish the activities equivalent to internships; for example, i) tutor assigned works; ii) training programmes in the Virtual Classroom organised as seminars, conferences, workshops, or other tools that include the participation of professionals from companies/institutions. A final report which is to be presented at the end of the placement shall reflect the tasks, activities, or complementary works given to a student.
  • It is possible to substitute the work placement with the previous professional experience or a prior extra-curricular work placement. In this case, the student shall accredit their prior experience before the External Placement Committee providing the required documents.
  • In certain justified cases, the students who cannot proceed with their internship remotely may fill out a favourable report of the External Placement Committee and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services and request that the enrolment in this course to be transferred to the next academic year 2020/2021 without paying extra fees.
  • In case of a Master’s degree, the administration shall inform the Coordinator of the Placement that a student has not started the internship and whether some decisions have been taken regarding the internship evaluation and accreditation by the External Placement Committee. It should be considered whether a Master student has the possibility to extend the internship (or at least 50% of it) until the end of the academic year.
  • In all degree programmes, substantial changes shall be introduced in Teaching Guides.

• The measures mentioned before should be taken. In addition, all conditions dictated by the authorities of the host country should be taken into account.
• Supervisor/s must communicate with the student/s and the enterprise or entity supervisor/s in order to assess the possibility of continuing the placement, relying on the instructions given by the host entity and the authorities of the country.
• Students may continue the placements if the situation of the area allows that, or if it allows to adopt teleplacement measures. It is recommended that students maintain permanent contact with their academic supervisors and strictly follow the instructions of the local authorities (as well as contacting the Spanish Embassy in the country, in case they are not habitually residents in the country).
• International placements starting on 16 March or after this date will not be authorised.

Research, innovation and transfer activities should preferably be carried out online at home.

The minimum and essential activity of the Central Service for Experimental Research is maintained, in order to guarantee the continuity of experiments that cannot be postponed or are already in progress. The animal production and experimentation, plant production and aquarium plant services are also maintained. The users will have to communicate online to the abovementioned services any requirements that are essential in the experiments in progress. Only in exceptional cases they will have access to the facilities.

Conferences, congresses and training courses scheduled in UV spaces are canceled. This type of activity can be continued if it is carried out exclusively online.

Access to research laboratories is restricted to exceptional and unpostponable cases only.

The Teaching and Research Staff (PDI), the Research Staff (PI), the Researcher in Trainging (PIF) and the Administrative and Service Staff (PAS) will restrict their activities as much as possible to the Universitat de València's laboratories and facilities, preferably working from home or from home.

The conditions for access to the Universitat de València's research laboratories and facilities will be similar to those for Sundays and public holidays.

Students are not allowed access to laboratories or other research infrastructures, even if these activities are related to their Degree Final Project and/or their Master’s Degree Final Project or to a Collaboration Grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education.

Regarding scientific congress attendance:

• No commission services or travels will be authorised. Those that are already authorised, but have not yet begun, are suspended.
• The expenses incurred by the cancellation of attendance at conferences will be managed according to the guidelines set by the funding entities. In any case, if it is necessary to cancel registrations, travel or other expenses related to attendance at these events, it will be essential to manage their cancellation properly, in order to obtain documentary proof of having incurred expenses.
• It is advisable for researchers to delay as much as possible the management of activities that cause expenses related to conferences (travel, registration and accommodation).

In relation to research stays at the Universitat de València (IN researchers), new additions to mobility programmes are suspended.

Regarding research stays outside the Universitat de València (OUT researchers), service commissions that have not yet begun are cancelled, except in specific, duly authorised cases.

• The incorporation of personnel is generally suspended for reasons of substitution, vacancy, excess work, etc. Only exceptionally will new personnel be hired for the maintenance of essential services, with prior authorisation from management.
• In general, all service fees and travel expenses are waived, unless they are essential for the maintenance of essential services, with prior authorisation from management.
• In general, all authorisations to carry out extraordinary work outside working hours are revoked.
• The Vacapas Programme is suspended.
• According with the third additional provision of the Royal Decree-Law 463/2020 terms are suspended and time limits for the processing of UV procedures in terms of staffing, selection and job placement are interrupted. All meetings of the technical selection or job placement bodies are cancelled. The calculation of the deadlines will be resumed at the moment when the alarm status or, if applicable, the extensions of the same lose their validity. However, the administrative bodies and departments shall comply with the internal time limits, in accordance with the service instructions issued by the competent bodies.

• With the aim of guaranteeing the right to health of workers, the reconciliation of work and family life and the adequate provision of public services, total or partial online work arrangements may be established.

In this sense, non-presential work is understood to mean not only that which can be done by telematic means, but also the ordinary handling of cases from the home.

Those responsible for the services and work centres will propose to the Management continuity plans for the services under their responsibility that guarantee the correct distribution of work, the provision and fulfilment of the functions assigned with the application of online work modalities for all or part of the Administrative and Service Staff under their responsibility. This continuity plan will be authorized by the Management.

• The hourly record will be maintained in the Working Hours Management (GDH) for the on-site activity. However, working hours will be made more flexible without being subject to the time limits for morning and afternoon shifts and compulsory stay in the workplace set out in the Regulations on working hours of the administrative and services staff of the Universitat de València (ACGUV 302/2012, modified by ACGUV 80/2019 and ACGUV 288/2019) with the aim of facilitating the conciliation of work and family obligations and of making possible a self-organisation of the services and centres that minimises the concurrence of people in the same space and time.

Consequently, the bands limiting the organisation of working time are no longer in force, with the exception of those necessary for the maintenance of essential activities. In this case, those responsible for the services and centres may set up shifts for the presence of staff at certain times.

• In accordance with the recommendations of the Regional Valencian Ministry for Public Health, updated to 13 March, are considered vulnerable groups:
  • People over 60.
  • People who present the following pathologies:
    • Arterial hypertension

    • Immunodeficiencies
  • Women in a state of pregnancy.
  • Women who are breastfeeding.
• Staff in a particularly vulnerable situation are exempt from timekeeping and may not attend the workplace, although they must provide their personal contact details to their direct supervisor and be available to carry out tasks appropriately from home. The Human Resources Service (pas@uv.es) must be informed of this circumstance as soon as possible. Justification may be given later, once normality has been restored.
• The same treatment shall be available to persons living with persons over 75 years of age or persons who are vulnerable owing to the diseases referred to in Section 3.1, pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding.

For the Administrative and Service Staff who is in charge of children under fourteen years of age or dependent persons and is affected by the closure of educational centres or is in charge of senior citizens, the following measures will be applicable for the time determined by the competent authorities and in accordance with the instructions of the persons responsible for the establishment:

• Flexibility of the working day without being subject to the limits provided for in current regulations.
• If it is indispensable, after notifying the head of the service or centre and the Human Resources Service – Administration and Services Staff(pas@uv.es), the staff will be allowed to stay at their home, being considered as an inexcusable duty in accordance with the provisions of article 48 j) of the rewritten text of the Spanish Law on the Basic Statute of Public Employees. The justification may be accredited after these events, once normality has been restored.

In the event that both parents and persons responsible for the elderly dependent person have the status of UV staff, they cannot benefit from these measures simultaneously. In these cases, it will be possible to adapt the timetable and complementary formulas, in person and at home, authorised by the University Head Office.

Attention to the public will be limited to telephone and telematic attention.

Taking into account the third additional provision of the Royal Decree-Law 463/2020, of 14 March, for which terms and deadlines are suspended and interrupted for the processing of procedures by public sector entities, this limitation shall also apply to the General Registry and the other registry offices, which shall remain closed.

When, for any exceptional reason, on-site care is necessary, the shifts required to ensure service provision shall be established and measures shall be taken to limit the concentration of persons in waiting areas. As well as safety and hygiene measures, indicating minimum distances according to the recommendations of the health authorities and the Health and Safety and the Environment Service (SPMA).

The Administrative and Service Staff, as well as the rest of UV’s public employees, shall simultaneously, immediately and compulsorily transfer the Human Resources – Personal and Administrative Staff (pas@uv.es), via emergencies@uv.es, and your direct supervisor if you are affected by or have symptoms of coronavirus disease.

If the symptoms appear at home, please will contact the telephone number 900 300 555 and not go to your workplace. Also, make the communications mentioned in the previous paragraph to the University, and your absence will be considered justified.

If the symptoms appear at the workplace, please will inform your direct supervisor, move immediately to an enclosed space and contact 900 300 555 to take the measures indicated by the health authorities.

The University Head Office will give the necessary instructions to ventilate the space and areas where the person presenting symptoms would have been and apply the hygiene measures determined by Health and Safety and the Environment Service for these areas.

Regarding the rest of the staff that would have shared working space with the person who showed symptoms of illness, preventive measures will be taken as established by the health authorities once they have been contacted with the 900 300 555.

In any case, it is obligatory that the person who presents symptoms of illness calls 900 300 555, complies with the indicated guidelines and transfers them to the University Head Office (emergencies@uv.es) in order to be able to adopt, if necessary, preventive measures. If the test is carried out to determine whether you are infected or not, you must report the result.

Likewise, they will identify those sections, units or specific persons that require infrastructure or specific instructions to work remotely, prioritising this work modality whenever possible.

Access to the UV facilities it is limited to its staff, as well as the staff of the entities located within its facilities, contractors for works, services and supplies. The access of any other person not related to the university is forbidden as well as the student body. Except for schoolchildren or residents, who may only access the facilities where they reside.

The janitorial staff and the staff of the access and security information services companies must comply with these instructions, requesting, if necessary, the accreditation of the status of UV staff, of related entities or of the contractors of works, services and supplies.

In any case, it is advised that all persons performing on-site work at the UV facilities avoid travelling in and between UV buildings and workplaces and remain at their workplace.

Those responsible for cleaning service contracts shall give appropriate instructions to increase the frequency of cleaning of all open facilities, with special attention to common spaces, spaces occupied by people with on-site work and the Principal Peset Hall of ResidenceSpecifically, the frequency of cleaning items such as handles, knobs, handrails, common use tables, elevators, toilets or taps will be increased, in addition to ensuring that soap and paper towels are never left out of the toilets.

The frequency of ventilation of the rooms will be increased.

This increase in services may be made effective by the reallocation of persons attached to the closed facilities listed in the Annex.

The Health and Safety and the Environment Service may propose to the undertakings providing the service that additional measures be taken in accordance with the recommendations of the public health authorities.

The persons responsible for the access information service contracts will give the appropriate instructions to reduce the presence of the staff providing the service, according to the real needs during this period.

However, in all buildings and facilities where the access information service is provided, including the closed facilities listed in the Annex, a minimum service of one person shall be maintained during the scheduled hours.

The duties of this person shall be limited to controlling and permitting access, if necessary, by maintenance, building works and cleaning staff.

Replacement services for food and beverage vending machines will be available, and the service will be provided only upon request by the persons responsible for the contracts

The persons responsible for the contracts shall pass on these instructions to the companies.

In accordance with the Spanish Government and the Valencian Government recommendations, service providers must promote remote working arrangements, provided that this is compatible with the tasks to be performed.

When it is not possible to implement this modality of work and the real needs of the presential service are substantially reduced, the person responsible for the contract may propose the reduction of the contracted service at the Administrative Procurement Service.

Any modification of the services involving a reduction in the committed consideration and in the staff of the service company provided for in the contract, shall require prior formal notification of the Administrative Procurement Service in the company.

In accordance with the Spanish Government and the Valencian Government recommendations, service providers must promote remote working arrangements, provided that this is compatible with the tasks to be performed.

When it is not possible to implement this modality of work and the real needs of the presential service are substantially reduced, the person responsible for the contract may propose the reduction of the contracted service at the Administrative Procurement Service.

Any modification of the services involving a reduction in the committed consideration and in the staff of the service company provided for in the contract, shall require prior formal notification of the Administrative Procurement Service in the company.
