COURSE "GENDER ANALYSIS IN RESEARCH" 

Who is it for?

To the Research Teaching Personnel of the UV (as well as to the research management PAS), annually in the SFPIE offer (24 hours). Duration of: 4 initial contact hours (taught by Professor Capitolina Díaz Martínez) and 20 hours online with adapted materials and monitoring in the virtual classroom (see course syllabus). 

What are the contents?

The structure of the course is made up of four units, the first two of a general nature and the third in the field of Social Sciences and Life Sciences, and a fourth in the field of Environment and Technologies. And finally, there is a final activity to be developed by the students. objectives This course is aimed at improving skills in the inclusion of the gender perspective both in projects and doctoral thesis work as well as in research projects and scientific articles that may be derived from research.

Given the originality of the course content, the increasing degree of demand to mainstream the gender perspective in scientific research, and the increased sensitivity in this matter, the course has been taught at our university, it has been transferred to many other , and is directed both to research staff and to other Research agents. This action responds to one of the most powerful objectives of the University Equality Plans and lays the foundations for significant changes to take place in the long term.
