The library has more than 5,000 titles of printed and electronic journals specialising in the areas of knowledge of the degrees of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Podiatry.
 
The journals can be searched in the Trobes catalogue by title, ISSN or through the option Journals by category, in the subject area of Health Sciences.

 
Electronic journals 

Most of the journals in the area of Health are nowadays presented in electronic format. In addition to the catalogue, the subject guides of our degree programmes also provide information on the collections of subscribed or open access e-journals. Access to paid resources requires a UV email account and VPN connection outside the University network.

This multidisciplinary bibliography contains the main subscribed collections.

Printed journals 

Printed journals are located in the library's repositories. These materials are not available to lend; to consult them, they must be requested at the information and loan desk on the ground floor.

A journal's reference number is formed by a code that begins with the library's BS.H locator and ends with a number that identifies the journal. For example, the reference number of MEDICINA CLÍNICA (printed edition) is BS.H ET 00737.

The journal call numbers are:

• BS.H ET 0001 for Spanish journals.
• BS.H XT 0001 for foreign journals.
