Complete Anatomy: new trial resource
Until June 30, the UV community will have access to a new trial resource from the publisher Elsevier: Complete Anatomy.
Complete Anatomy is a 3D anatomy learning platform that offers interactive three-dimensional anatomical models to help students, teaching staff, and healthcare professionals better understand human anatomical structures.
The platform includes more than 17,000 detailed anatomical structures from both the male and female body, as well as interactive tools and complementary clinical content such as videos and X-rays.

An online training session via Teams is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19. No registration is required, and the session will be recorded.

Nou acord transformatiu amb BMJ Publishing Group per a 2026
La Biblioteca de la Universitat de València ha subscrit un nou acord transformatiu amb BMJ Publishing Group per al període comprés entre l’1 de gener i el 31 de desembre de 2026.
L’acord inclou l’accés en línia a la BMJ Standard Collection i permet al personal investigador de la Universitat de València publicar en accés obert, sense cost per APC (Article Processing Charges), els articles elegibles (treballs de recerca original, revisions i brief reports) acceptats en les revistes híbrides del grup BMJ incloses en l'acord.
A més, es manté la subscripció a BMJ Case Reports, revista especialitzada en casos clínics. Per a publicar sense cost en aquesta revista, cal sol·licitar un Fellowship Code a la biblioteca a través de La Biblioteca Respon.

Library closed
In light of the forecasts and recommendations issued by Civil Protection for tomorrow, Saturday, February 14 (non-school day), the UV Emergency Committee has decreed the closure of all facilities and buildings at the Universitat de València on Saturday, February 14.
Consequently, the library will remain closed, as will all other facilities.

3rd Reading Club Conference ‘Read, Grow, Help’
Next Friday, 20 February, from 12:00 to 14:00, the 3rd Reading Club Conference ‘Read, Grow, Help’ will be held in Room M-29 of the Faculty of Physiotherapy.
The conference is part of the teaching innovation project Reading Club ‘Read, Grow, Help’: Growing Inside and Outside the University of Valencia, which aims to promote cross-disciplinary reading among physiotherapy students and professionals. This initiative seeks to develop key skills such as communication, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning, which will lead to improvements in healthcare practice.
The Library is collaborating in the project by acquiring and lending the selected works and promoting them through a thematic guide, where the titles chosen by the club can be consulted together with a video review by a physiotherapy professional.During the event, the Library will also be present with an on-site lending service for the club's books.
Attendance is free of charge. However, for organisational reasons, prior registration is required.

Registration open for 2nd edition of Aprèn courses
Registration is now open for the second edition of the Aprèn courses (AprènCD and AprènTFG) until 23 January 2026 at 2 p.m.
The Aprèn courses are entirely online courses organised by the Library and Documentation Service and aimed at undergraduate students. Their objective is to develop the necessary information and digital skills for academic works (AprènCD) and final degree projects (AprènTFG).
Both courses will begin on 27 January 2026 and are valid for 1,5 credits each in different undergraduate degrees.

Entrance gate for Saturday, November 15
On Saturday, November 15, the access to the library will be through the main entrance of the Facultat de Medicina.
The usual weekend entrance, through the side door by the chapel, will remain closed.
